The Lange/DLR Antares DLR-H2 is a proof-of-concept fuel cell-powered hybrid electric conversion of an Antares 20E electric self-launch sailplane.

The fuel cell (FC) conversion was a collaboration between Lange Research Aircraft and DLR, Germany’s national air and space research center.

With a five hour endurance at 150 km/h (93 MPH) for a range of 750 km (466 miles), the Antares DLR-H2 is the most successful FC aircraft project to date.
